Greet on arrival at Paro Airport and transfer to Thimphu(7,710
ft.) the capital city of Bhutan.On arrival check in hotel. Later visit the
National Library, National Textile Museum and Art of Handicraft.
Evening explore the Thimpu town by walk.Overnight at Thimphu.

After breakfast visit Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue) a place for
refreshing with a huge Buddha on the top of the Kuensel Phodrang,
National Memorial Chorten (Monument) & Folk Heritage Museum.
Afternoon visit Takin Preserve Centre, the national animal of
Bhutan can be seen here and later go for sangaygang to
Wangduetse hike (1hr).In the evening visit Tashichho Dzong
(Fortress of the Glorious Religion).Overnight at Thimphu.

(After breakfast drive to Punakha (4298 ft.)/On the way Stop
at Dochu-La-Pass (3150 mts.).to view the higher Himalayas.
After that take a short and easy hike to visit the Chhimi
Lhakhang - The Temple, also known as “The Temple of
Fertility” was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley(Divine mad man).
Afternoon check in hotel and visit Punakha Dzong - built in
1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal.The Dzong was named
Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang. Punakha is still the winter
residence of Je-Khenpo.Evening leisure time.Overnight at
punakha

After breakfast drive to Phobjikha valley. Phobjikha valley is the home for blacked necked crane during
winter and migrates to Tibet during the summer time. Later visit Gangtey sangha choling goenpa which
is the seat for Gantey trulku( Body reincarnation of Terton Pemalingpa).Afternoon, go for nature trail
hike which last for around 1 hour.Overnight at phobjikha.

After breakfast drive to paro, a beautiful valley in bhutan, is one of the most attractive tourist destination in bhutan. Afternoon visit national museum of bhutan which was built in 1649 by first governor of paro La Nyenpa Tenzin Drukdra as watchtower later it was covert into Muesum. Towardsevening visit Paro Rinpung Dzong(heap of
jewel).overnight at paro.

After breakfast hike to Taktsang Monastery. The trail is broad and the walk of approximately 1.5 to 2 hours uphill takes you almost a kilometre above the Paro valley floor (for those who cannot hike we will arrange a horse for transfer up to cafeteria). The view of Taktsang Monastery built on a sheer cliff face 900 metres above the valley floor is a spectacular sight. The Monastery is also an important pilgrim site for the Buddhists. According to legend, the great Guru Rimpoche and his consort are said to have meditated in a cave here for three months when he brought the teachings of the Buddhist Dharma to Bhutan in the 8th Century. After meditation, they manifested themselves in the forms of Guru Dorji Drolo and a tigress to subdue demons in the valley below. The cave, where the monastery was later built is said to be the origin of Buddhism in Bhutan. Nearby there is a teahouse where you can stop for refreshments before returning to Paro for lunch.

In the afternoon drive to the almost fully reconstructed Drukgyel Dzong.  The original monument (destroyed by fire in 1951)  was built by Shabdrung to commemorate his victory against invading Tibetans in 1644.  In fine weather the towering peak of the sacred Mount Jomolhari (7314m) appears as a stunning backdrop. On the return drive to Paro, visit other sights in Paro valley. Overnight at your hotel in Paro.

Breakfast in the hotel, then drive to the airport for flight to your onward destination.
