Meet & Greet on arrival at Paro Airport and transfer to Thimphu(7,710 ft.) the capital city of Bhutan. On
arrival check in at the hotel. Later visit the National Library, National Textile Museum and Art of
Handicraft. Evening explore the Thimpu town by walk. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

After breakfast visit Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue) a place for refreshing with a huge statue of
Buddha on the top of the Kuensel Phodrang, National Memorial Chorten (Monument) & Folk Heritage
Museum. Afternoon visit Sangaygang View Point, Thangthong Gyelpo Nunnery, Takin Preserve Centre
(The national animal of Bhutan can be seen here). In the evening visit Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the
Glorious Religion). Overnight stay Thimphu.

(Distance: 77 kms. / Driving Time: 3 hrs. / Altitude of Punakha: 1310 mts.)

After breakfast drive to Punakha (4298 ft.)/ Wangdue, On the way Stop at Dochu-La-Pass (3150 mts.). to view the higher Himalayas. After that take a short and easy hike to visit the Chhimi Lhakhang - The Temple, also known as “The Temple of Fertility” was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley, “The Devine Mad Man”. Arrival at Punakha check in at hotel. After noon visit Punakha Dzong - built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. For many years until the time of the second king, it served as the seat of the Government. The Dzong was named Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). Punakha is still the winter residence of Je-Khenpo and King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck convened the first National Assembly here in 1952.Evening for leisure.Overnight stay Punakha.

Distance (212 kms / Driving Time: 7 hrs.Altitude of Bumthang: 2800 mts)

After breakfast drive to Bumthang valley which is the bhutan’s religious heartland and its home to some of the the country’s old Buddhist temples. The valley is also known as the tales of Guru Padmasambava who visited bhutan during 8 th century. On the way visit Trongsa Dzong(Fortress)which is consider to be largest and richest dzong in bhutan which stand on the hill overlooking the gorge of mangde river.

Overnight stay Bumthang.

After breakfast drive to Maebar Tsho(Buring lake) where terton pemalingpa discover treasure from the

lake during 15 th century. Afternoon visit jakar dzong(Fortress)also known as “Castle of the white bird”,stands proudly in the heart of Bumthang valley which is said to be built by yogi ngagi wangchuk during 15 th century. Later visit jambay lhakhang which is the oldest temple in bhutan,Kurjee lhakhang(Blessed by guru padmasambava during 8 th century), Tamzhing monastery( seat for terton pemalingpa) and visit Kenchoesum Lhakhang which is believed to be built by tibetan king Tshrison detshen during 8 th century and restore during 15 th century by terton pemalingpa. Overnight stay Bumthang.

Distance:40kms/driving time: 2hrs.
Morning drive to tang village and on the way visit tang remochen lhakhang,believe to be blessed by guru Padmasambava during 8 th century. Later visit tang ugyenchoeling museum. Overnight stay Bumthang.

Distance: 160 kms/driving time: 4hrs 30 min.Altitude of Phobjikha valley:2900mts.

After breakfast drive to beautiful phobjikha valley which is winter home for black necked crane(consider to be the bird of heaven).Later visit Gangtey Goenpa(the main seat of gangtey trulku who is the grandson of terton pemalingpa).Afternoon explore beautiful short nature trail hike which take around one hour.Evening visit black necked crane information center.Overnight stay phobjikha.

Distance:170kms/driving time: 4hrs.Altitude of paro: 2300mts.
After breakfast drive to paro, a beautiful valley in bhutan, is one of the most attractive tourist destination in bhutan. Afternoon visit national museum of bhutan which was built in 1649 by first governor of paro La Nyenpa Tenzin Drukdra as watchtower later it was covert into Muesum.Towards evening visit Paro Rinpung Dzong(heap of jewel).

Take a day hike to the tiger’s nest monastery which is believe to be bless by guru padmasambava during
8 th century.

Breakfast in the hotel, then drive to the airport for flight to your onward destination.
